This month, we ate Borscht and exchanged jokes with the PYGIO teams in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv. Although we adopt a “work-from-anywhere” culture, it was wonderful to meet our teams in person from across Ukraine. The country is steeped in culture and history around every corner, alley and behind every door. It is a unique place, and yet the software development world operates like it does in any city in the world. We all speak different languages, but tech is a common language and the strongest unifier of people. Software is the ultimate culture bridge.
