Business Requirements
WorkWide focuses on digitizing the remote workforce in the field services industry. As client needs evolved and products changed, WorkWide recognized the growing importance of modular workforce management mobile app to service its clients’ field employees.
Solution
Our cooperation with WorkWide resulted in three key objectives addressed:
• Building a comprehensive mobile application using “native” Flutter system, which already worked for the client.
• Analysing customer reporting dashboard and writing custom SQL queries & dashboard views.
• Setting up a Scrum process for effective product development

Project overview
During our Discovery session with WorkWide, we identified the following pain points:
- Platform Roadmap: required continuity, effective execution, and ongoing support.
- Multiple Products: independent timelines and fast delivery schedules demanded secure and reliable access to talent to meet deadlines.
- Scalable Teams: evolving product and client needs required the ability to quickly scale teams.
- Diverse Skill Sets: changing client expectations, new use cases, and product enhancements necessitated rapid access to a wide range of adaptable skills.
- Flexible Partnerships: commercially adaptable partnership models were essential to support growth and align with business needs.
We offered the following steps to address the client's issues:
- Building a mobile app using the Flutter system
- Providing Data Science solutions to enable effective data governance of all the systems and databases. WorkWide required assistance with its Zoho customer reporting dashboard, including the creation of new reports and the updating of existing ones. This was done through Zoho’s UI and/or custom SQL queries. Our Data Analyst helped write custom queries and views, augmenting and supporting the existing team.
- Improving a Product development process with the help of Scrum, including:

Scope of Work Delivered by the Design and Development Team for the New WorkWide Application Launch:
- Designed a comprehensive Figma-based design system and UI mockups
- Developed a WordPress website aligned with the Figma designs
- Built the mobile application using native Flutter (with FlutterFlow used for select UI components)
- Implemented local database functionality
- Integrated required APIs
- Enabled offline functionality for the app
- Recreated screens and UI components in Flutter with a new theme setup
- Migrated all core features from the existing NativeScript app to the new Flutter app
- Configured multiple app "flavours" for different environments or use cases
- Provided 60 days of post-launch support for any production issues from the date of handover
